Above is my new low power GMRS mobile radio about 15/18 operational watts maximum output.
Above shows this radio on one of my 7 amp hr AGM batteries with a cigarette lighter plug on the backside. Background is the Saint John’s River in Florida.
A close up of the radio you can see the black antenna cable and the red and black wire with the cigarette plug.
Above I am using my HF Radio on 20 and 40 meters. Made a contact in Illinois, New York and South Carolina. I am in N/E Florida for these shots.
