Update on Radioddity 20 GMRS

 Need to be careful when putting the mic down.  In my truck I often drop it on the seat next to me.  When I drop it it sometimes lands on the up or down key.  This can change channels and disrupt my radio calls.

Participated in my first GMRS repeater net it was short but good.  The owner/net control did a great job along with all participants.

Above is my new low power GMRS mobile radio about 15/18 operational watts maximum output.

Above shows this radio on one of my 7 amp hr AGM batteries with a cigarette lighter plug on the backside. Background is the Saint John’s River in Florida.

Above I am using my HF Radio on 20 and 40 meters.  Made a contact in Illinois, New York and South Carolina.  I am in N/E Florida for these shots.
