Joined the YL System

I have been having fun searching out radio nets on HF. As solar activity has been increasing so have my rate of contacts.  My primary antenna is a dipole made of two 20 meter mini ham sticks up 25 feet on a painters pole. I also use a 40 meter hamstick on a 12 foot painters pole with two radils and a 10 meter on a nag mount.

I also have a GMRS antenna up about 14 feet with two short radils.

More Radio Contacts

Stopped raining but still cold so I am still inside.

Working off 24 amp SLA battery on 20 and 40 meters.
Can see my 20 meter dipole up 23 feet on the back of the RV.  On the red canopy closest to the camera is my GMRS antenna.  On the right corner closes to the RV is my 40 meter up 18 feet.

It’s raining

It’s raining so I moved in to the RV for a few days till it passes.

Above I have my G90 and a 7amp SLA battery along with my coffee.

I had made this cardboard duck tape covered window insert a while back it is working out fine.  I have made a couple contacts in Texas so far around 1000 miles away. One more day of rain then clearing for a few days.
